What You Will Study

• Fundamentals of Massage: Explore the history, theory, and philosophy of massage, understanding its effects and benefits.
• Massage Techniques: Master each of the five classical Swedish massage movements, and learn theory about mechanical massage methods also.
• Aftercare and Homecare Advice: Providing guidance to clients post-treatment.
• Professional Consultation: Client consultation, relevant legislation, and professional conduct.
• Contraindications: Understanding conditions that may restrict or prevent massage treatments. Follow-up Treatments: Conducting effective follow-up treatments and planning appropriate treatment programs.
• Complementary Therapies: An overview of other available complementary therapies.
• Anatomy & Physiology: Gain a deep understanding of the following systems and structures: Skin, Cells, Skeletal, Muscular, Circulatory, Lymphatic, Nervous, Respiratory, Digestive, and Urinary system.
