Carrie Cunnane
Salon owner / Beauty Therapist

Carrie is proprietor and director of Carrie’s beauty salon. She qualified with Georgina Price college of beauty therapy in 2002 with a diploma in make-up artistry. She holds three qualifications ITEC, CIBTAC & CIDESCO accredited. She also received the prestigious award of student of the year upon completion. She worked in spa environment before opening her own salon in Athlone in 2003 and since then has moved from strength to strength. Carrie is a Beauty Specialist, HD brow and Makeup artist.  Carrie has won Beauty Therapist in 2018, 2019 & 2022 as well as her Salon reaching the finals of ‘Beauty Salon Of The Year’ in those same years. The Salon also Won ‘Beauty Salon of the year’ in 2022 this was a massive achievement for her & her team.  Carries impeccable customer care and service is well known and attributes to her long-standing success in Athlone. She is widely known for her makeup which include fashion, television and bridal with an extensive portfolio of her brides and their bridal looks. One of Carrie’s main passions in the salon is skin and this reflects in the brands and skincare she uses having taken in Yon-Ka Paris originally, she later added Image skincare,  Hydrafacial, & DMK skincare to offer the perfect balance between luxury and pharmaceutical skincare ensuring she can tailor to any client’s needs.

Kerrie Larkin
Manager / Beauty Therapist

Kerrie is a beauty veteran, having worked in the industry for over 13 years. Since beginning her career in beauty, Kerrie has excelled in all areas. She has worked at a 5-star spa, pampering celebrity clients, including Imelda May and Keith Barry, to name just a few. Kerrie has an extensive knowledge in skincare, currently she is classed as an IMAGE skin care expert at Carries, having attained the highest level of training with the brand. Since joining Carries in 2015, she also assumed the role of Salon Manager. She has built up a loyal client base and is renowned for her expertise in shellac nails, spray tanning and brow styling, including threading & henna brows.

Sinead
Beauty Therapist

Sinead qualified from Browyn Conroy Beauty School in 2016. She has three qualifications in ITEC, CIBTAC & CIDESCO. She received the first scholarship from her college to work in The Luxury 5* Powerscourt Hotel. She also worked in 5 Star Spa’s where she continued to grow a strong passion for both massage & skincare. She loves helping clients achieve their goals & seeing amazing results. Sinead has a warm approach & she leaves a positive impression on every client in the salon. Sinead has trained in the Elite Hydrafacial, DMK, Image & Yon-Ka skincare.

Lauren
Front of House

Lauren is our new Front of house and will be greeting all of our clients everyday. Lauren is a Makeup Artist and is very passionate about all things makeup. Seeing her clients satisfied and happy with the end results means so much to Lauren. She qualified from Galway Technical Institute in Makeup-Artistry. After that Lauren went on further and qualified from Sharon Leavy Beauty Academy in Portlaoise completing a Ultimate Lash & Brow qualification. Lauren has previously worked for Charlotte Tilbury In Brown Thomas Galway. Lauren is looking forward to welcoming all our lovely clients.
